We are looking for a software developer to join our IT team at Ea Energy Analyses.

Your primary tasks

You will be a part of a smaller IT team and your primary tasks will be to develop customized tools, e.g. MS Excel add-ins (C#) and cloud platforms for internal as well as external use. Recent examples include cloud-based infrastructure for energy system modelling, an online tool for municipalities to make climate strategies, and dispatching solutions for heating companies.

We expect the distribution of tasks will be:

  • 50-60% on tool development, primarily Microsoft VSTO Excel add-ins (C#)
  • 20% on cloud infrastructure
  • 20% ad hoc

Your professional background and experience

We are looking for a colleague who has a strong background in IT and ideally has:

  • Midlevel (5+ years) experience in C# (.Net framework).
  • Working experience with:
    • Winforms (.Net framework)
    • Browser-based UI (Blasor),
    • Cloud infrastructure (ARM / Bicep / Terraform / similar).
  • Experience and certifications working with Microsoft Azure architecture/design, Azure functions, and Azure management.

If you also have experience with SQL, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, VBA, or Power Shell, we do consider it a plus.
