About the positions
In ISS Denmark we are looking for two new Category Manager colleagues for our Supply Chain and Procurement department. As Category Manager you create value for ISS by selecting and driving the right supplier base strategies. The primary focus areas for the positions will be the Cleaning category and the IT & Indirect category. You will be working closely together with talented colleagues from various functions of the organization and be part of a strong global Supply Chain and Procurement organization.
You define and execute category strategies through strong stakeholder collaboration
The right candidates for the positions will through a collaborative approach build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to strategically manage spend and the supplier base. You identify and realize cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities with a strong focus on supplier assurance and quality, and you have the commercial responsibility for negotiations supporting the organization in getting the best possible conditions.
You are action-oriented with the ability to prioritize and focus on key tasks while adding structure to a changing and dynamic environment. You communicate well across organizational levels and functional disciplines, balancing objective lines of argument based on data with great stakeholder management skills. By leveraging your experience, you work with the team to build standards and processes for our way of strategically managing our categories. You take the lead in further professionalizing procurement, to ensure that we have the right foundation for delivering the best service to our customers’ locations.
We expect relevant candidates brings well-developed end-to-end skills ranging from analysis to implementation and savings realization. This is supported by a formal education within Business Administration, Commercial Law, Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
Category Manager for the Cleaning category:
For the role as Cleaning Category Manager, we are actively seeking candidates with diverse profiles, embracing experience in procurement but also individuals who may be newer to the field but bring relevant education and a proactive mindset. You will be responsible to ensure the successful development and deployment of Cleaning procurement strategies, in alignment with our Cleaning Products & Performance department and our global community. Key tasks will be developing, anchoring, and driving annual sourcing plans, nurturing supplier partnerships, and strong focus on a sustainable operation.
It isn’t a requirement that you have experience from the Cleaning category, it more important that you have an analytic mindset, have experience with cost-saving initiatives, maintaining high-quality standards, and the ability to foster a strong relationships with the Cleaning suppliers.
Category Manager for the IT & Indirect category:
As Category Manager for the IT & Indirect category, we are looking for candidates who bring a diverse range of qualifications and experiences to the table. The right candidate can be both an experienced professional with a proven track record in strategic procurement, particularly within the IT field, or a less experienced candidate with a relevant education and the right mindset. What’s important is that you have the ability to understand legal, contracts and operational requirements, showcasing your ability to navigate the complexities of especially IT procurement processes, and handle supplier management, negotiation, and successful execution of comprehensive category strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Beside IT suppliers, the category covers a wide range of internal needs, such as temporary labor, consulting, professional services, etc.
